While on my honeymoon in 2017 and while using an old 10+ year old Nikon, I snapped this photo and it reintroduced me to photography. Over the last few years, while my skills (and expenses!) have increased, this is still my favorite photo.
My wife and I watched the waves crash on to the north shore of Ke'e Beach in Kauai, Hawaii. Ke’e is the last stop. The end of the road. It’s the furthest you can drive on the north shore. We arrived just before sunset and much to our surprise there were only a handful of others at the beach, all of them looking out at the incredible Napali Coastline.
