I think people try too hard sometimes to get the "perfect" shot. I also think that a highly manipulated photo is not necessarily a good photo. This is an example of a straightforward photograph that is not a perfect shot... but it doesn't have to be perfect, to be great. I like the real person here- she's not perfect, and that's good! One might be able to criticize this or that in the photo but it would not improve the photo's feel or message. This is a very good photo.
If I had to criticize this I would say the head crop is just a little more than I would like to see, but it certainly draws attention the eyes, and what beautiful eyes. And the hand (her left hand) at the lower right is a bit distracting. The other two of Lara are good too. This is my favorite of the three.
