The Rose - This is macro photograph of a rose flower seen through few water droplets on a pistil of a lily flower. There were lot of things, which had to come together to get this image right including setting up delicate pistil by bending it enough to make a curve and not too much that it brakes. Another thing is placing water drops on pistil and shoot all required images (13 images are focus stacked for this) before they move or evaporate. All the set up and water had to be steady for the duration of shoot, even a footstep will cause ripples on the water and ruins the shoot. It took around 2 hours to get the set up ready and shoot and another hour to process the image. The concept, set-up and technique behind this image are inspired from the work of a professional Macro photographer Don Komarechka, his work is amazing, he does some cool stuff with water droplets, snowflakes.
