Taken at the equestrian center at Wills Park in Alpharetta, Georgia with a mirror / reflector lens. I was so far away from the rider, it’s hard to believe she briefly focused on me, mid-jump. But it sure looks like it. Note about the lens: I had wanted to buy a long focal length lens for a while, so I could shoot some closeup shots without being at the fence. I came across a Opteka 500mm f/6.3 mirror lens online and was skeptical of it’s quality when the price tag was only $100. I guess a lot of people don’t like the donut-shaped bokeh you get with a mirror lens like this. But I’m glad I went ahead and purchased it.
