Dawn's Preceding Light

I traveled to this location multiple mornings in hopes of a dynamic sunrise. On this particular morning, I awoke a little later than the other days, and so my drive to the location was filled with a bit of anxiety as I realized what was happening and that I might miss the shot due to my poor sleep habits. I rushed to set up my camera, dial in my settings, and begin snapping photos.

I was new enough at photography that I didn't know whether I was "getting the shot" or not, but I was excited to be out nonetheless. When I got home, and realized I'd managed to capture this shot in all its glory. I was very happy indeed.

This photo was displayed in Athens, Greece via a GuruShots competition.

This is incredible!! Great work. I love the color.

Thank you. It is by far one of my "best" images.
