Quarantine on an Island

My wife and I, in transit to start a new life in Mexico stopped for a “few days” just north of the border. After packing for months and countless hours of planning and coordinating logistics, we did everything we could to ensure a smooth transition from our home in San Francisco to our new one in Mexico. Now, as the border is closed, it looks like we are stuck here for some time. Thankfully we have a roof over our heads and we are healthy. Also, extremely grateful that I have this beach within a few steps. When I look out to the ocean, all is well with the world.
