My grandfather had this chess set in a glass case and it was very rare that he would allow me to play with it. A few years ago when my grandfather and my father died I was able to keep the pieces that remained. Only the white pieces are complete and many are broken.
For these photos I used two very soft LED lamps very close to the pieces to give that style of lighting.
Color grading was done in photoshop.
