My friend had given me a challange this day, to go out in the city and photograph cars. It was the first time I did something like this and it was great to only focus on one subject and ignore the rest. I found many nice cars on this day and this shot is one of my favorite. This old Fiat was standing at the side of the road outside of a hotel and it's driver stood behind it waiting for his lady company. When I saw the image on my computer when I got home it looked flat and boring but I saw the potential since the car was so nice.

I wanted to have the background a bit more out of focus than I was able to capture with the SEL 35mm f1.8 so I used the Tilt-shift effect in PS for this. There was no interesting light what so ever so I though a red warm tone would be good for this old car. I also added the reflection from the sun in the building window. I removed some garbage around the car and the the white markings on the road and focused the attention on the car with the radial and gradient filter.
