While most of the world is currently on lockdown, the north island's population is thankfully rather sparse. That means one can venture far and wide without worrying about the current hazards of human contact. On one particularly beautiful day I decided it was time for a bit of an adventure. Left the house at 6am and headed for the trail. During the 6 hour hike I didn't encounter a single other person. As the day was nearing it's end I decided to visit one more spot before heading home. The timing couldn't have been more perfect as I arrived mere moments before sunset and got to witness this beautiful vista!
