Nomad Elder

One of my personal favourites - I had about 5 seconds to grab this, armed with my 5DmkIII and 24-105L, Not great light in a tent in the desert but i'm happy with the end result. In September of this year (2014) I had the good fortune to visit Tunisia, North Africa for the first time. During my stay we ventured out on a 4x4 day trip. One of the highlights being a visit to a real Nomad family out in the desert. I felt like a Nat Geo photog, rocking up in a white landcruiser and the results are some of my favourite shots to date. If i were a little younger i think this would be my career of choice.

Beautifully done! It's so quick windows of opportunity, that create the best storytelling portraits. Operating only on instinct. Amazing image!
