First attempt at Infrared

I was looking at infrared pictures for the last couple of days and decided to buy a Hoya R72 filter to try it out in the park. So on a cold November day in Coventry on a break from my studies, I picked up my camera, tripod and my omzuiko 24mm f2,8 and see what I could come up with.. It was very difficult to see anything on the screen and realised after a few pictures, that over-exposing would create a more dramatic scene so I adjusted a little and came-up with this as my hands were starting to sting from the cold and decided to pack my bags and go home to a warm and long shower knowing I accomplished something different.
