Visions of Earth

I frequently pass by this canyon whenever I shoot sunrise up in the mountains. One image that keeps popping in my head is photographing the canyon as it leads to the Milky Way. However, the only way to do this is to actually fly a drone. This shot was made by stitching together several horizontal shots to form a vertical panorama. The milky way was composited and its location and orientation was verified via photopills.
