Barely Hidden

Leopard hiding in high grasses in the wetlands of the Okavango delta, Botswana. Early morning tangential soft light accentuated the fur and the texture of the leopard. I deliberately chose this composition. I wanted the grass in front of him to partly cover his face, but not the eyes. In that way the grass frames the gaze of the leopard and the elusive character of these animals.
