This spherical boulder feels like it belongs in a sci-fi movie. But indeed, it stands in the middle of a collection of such boulders in Kansas. For just a brief moment the golden light from an early, mostly overcast, day mixed perfectly with the parting clouds.
Single shot, no composting, sky is original. Shot with my new favorite 35mm “art” lens. It produces a twisting bokeh along with other unusual distortions.
