The great Comet NEOWISE setting over Mount Baker, Washington

I was finally able to get more detail especially in the blue ion tail shooting after twilight at peak darkness. The comet was even bright enough for its reflection to be seen in the lake. This is 10 tracked exposures for the sky stacked for a total of 5 minutes, blended with a 3 minute foreground exposure shot right after (tracker turned off) without moving the camera position. After much planning and preparation, it was such a surreal moment to witness and capture this once in a lifetime shot. What a night to remember under the stars! Shot with astromodified Canon 6d, Canon 50mm lens, Move Shoot Move star tracker, benro tripod.
