Fireside Fireball

This image is a single shot, created in-camera. The fireball and background are on red sparkle scrapbook paper. The fire behind was created using rubbing alcohol in a dish. There is gold paper behind the fireball glass to give it the solid and vibrant coloring. The key light was an optical snoot with spot gobo. There is a softbox with reg gel overhead for fill and a light with red gel and grid lighting the backdrop.
