With maybe 30 minutes of sleep after shooting stars earlier in the evening I gave into the cell phone alarm clock and rolled out of my Jeep to get ready for a sunrise hike. With a 430am start i was stoked to have good company with leading the way up the mountain.

This was my first hike to a fire lookout tower and after seeing the views I am hooked! That and I took the wrong lens with me on the hike so have to go again with the proper gear for the distant peaks. This is by far the best sunrise hike I all have done since moving. Can't wait to get back up to Mt. Rainier National Park!
