My son Trevor was called to play up with the team of boys a year group above him in a tournament against kids in the age group one even higher. He is only 10 and had to play against kids ranging from 12-14. He was a threat on the left-wing all match and was on a breakaway. You can see the sheer difference in size with his defender. I like to think the bigger kid's expression on his face is saying, "Damn, this little dude has a good touch."
They lost that match, but Trevor got the only goal and won big by playing up against kids much older, bigger and physical than him.
