For this we wanted to show the waterproofing of this shoe and the different elements that mean it's more aimed towards winter running here in the UK. I decided to go for a light misting spray rather than a splash of water. The great thing about liquid is that every shot is different and you really know when you get 'the shot'.
I added a gelled light overhead which luckily only caught the top half of the spray. I wanted the gel to also be quite subtle as a nod towards city lights at night.
In PS I removed the wire holding the shoe in place and replaced the floor as it was soaked with water. I shot a clean floor and a shadow separately. Other than that it's out of camera.
