The horse was photographed in his stable with a Leica M240 and 75mm lens at about ƒ8.5.
The main light was a gridded 120cm softbox and Godox AD600 to camera left and a strip light with barndoors to camera right behind the horse. I wanted to control the spill from my lights to keep the background dark.
The most important element was my wife shaking a bucket of nuts to keep the horse interested!
