The Adirondacks offer some amazing scenery anytime of the year but, Autumn is where this place truly shines. Walls of color flood the landscapes and it is easy to get lost in the fray of all it. Climbing the high peaks offer their rewards but so does finding an out of the way trail or following a stream.
I took the advice of a local shop owner and hiked this creek near Keene, NY. and was not disappointed by the scenery. so many small waterfalls and rocky streams to take in. It was great to focus on the intimate details rather than the crushing walls of color in the more trafficked areas.
