There are still Zinnia in the gardens at Planting Fields, Long Island. The day was cloudy so the shadows were deep creating the perfect situation for this black and white image of a white beauty. I only had my long lens because I had been looking for birds. The weather shut out the birds so it was an fun challenge to see what I could do with a long lens in a tightly laid out, intimate garden.
