Fall is here and the Ginko are changing from green to yellow. While this is lovely in color, I prefer the contrast in light and dark found in black and white. The day was cloudy so the shadows were deep creating the perfect situation for this black and white image of a fading Ginko branch. I only had my long lens because I had been looking for birds. The weather shut out the birds so it was an fun challenge to see what I could do with a long lens in a tightly laid out, intimate garden.
