Hector, The only thing that I would have done here is shoot with less depth of field......2.8 would have been perfect here. There's always the chance that you didn't have the lens capable of that.

Agreed. This image was shot at f2.8 with my Nikkor AFS 24-70 @ 50mm. Given her height and where we were in the room, that was my only option for a full body image. Consequently, the DoF did what it did.
