Modena Appennines, Parco del Frignano on the slopes of Cimone.
One Sunday in October, immersed in the Apennine nature to reach the Doccione Waterfall through a short "sensorial" path: sensorial because the sounds, the sensations to the touch, the scents, all contribute to creating an opportunity to meet the forest.
Where the path ends, an all-wooden walkway rises over the stream, passes over it, turns around a tree and passes in front of the waterfall. The air around you becomes cool and you hear a sound made of a thousand voices all together, voices of water: streams, drops, downpours, jets, puddles, splashes (lots of splashes).
You feel a cool mist settle on your face, while the sound of the water is so loud that you can hardly hear it when you speak.
