Paradise during Pandemic

I have been a pretty big hypochondriac my whole life (not bragging, lol). You know that meme where the guy is missing a limb and isn't complaining, but then has a common cold and is miserable...that's me. During this time it has been difficult to find some serenity. I live in New York and we were one of the first places in the US to implement a strict lockdown. It was the end of September and there was an optimism in the air that has since passed, but I decided to hop on a plane and visit my sister in San Diego. This is one of the first shots I took while I was out there and was instantly happy that I took the risk. It reminds me that risks are not a bad thing.
