At home last month (December 2014), and took a break from studying for semester final exams by taking a walk outside. There I saw butterflies floating around in my front yard. Grabbed my camera first with my 18-55mm kit, and went out to try and capture a few shots of them feeding on the nectar.
Decided that I need more in respect to DOF so I ran back inside for the 50mm 1.8. The image became the favourite of the lot.
