When I arrived back at the reservoir after hiking in the mountains for the day the sky was overcast and my hoped for sunset photo didn't seem likely. However about half an hour before sunset the clouds started to dissipate leaving a beautiful glow in both the sky and the water. With almost no wind the reflections were almost perfect.
