Making the best of sheltering in place with some backyard photography. This little hummingbird lives in my backyard and is quite territorial. This is an "Anna’s hummingbird” and the color variation in his neck feathers is amazing! As the angle of light on these platelets interacts with our eyes, the colors of the bird's feathers appear to change.
