Promotional photo I shot for CUTBACK wetsuits. The photo is used for advertisements.
On the F-stoppers Facebook I got allot of questions and comments on the pose and expresion. people seem to have mixed feelings about it.
The feel I wanted to create is the tensioned feel you get just before jumping in cold water. You have sweaty palms you can't stand still, you take one deep breath and take the plunge. This is exactly what the company is doing right now. A side from all of this it gives a good view on the shape of the suit.
The model/board/rocks/background and sky are shot separately.
A little fun side note, I also designed the wetsuit. It is currently going in production. :)
