One thing that becomes quickly apparent is that not all penguins remain totally nice and clean during their time in Antarctica. As summer rolls around, the ice melts and you're left with strange brown waddling creatures that look nothing like penguins from a distance.

On the odd occasion, one emerges from the ocean after a hunting expedition and is gorgeously clean like one would expect

Good capture, you should add more penguin shot they are cute subject I just don't know how difficult to their photo.
