My first morning Folly Beach I was greeted with this sunrise. I actually had my 24-70mm on and when I got to the beach, the Pier was so far away i couldnt get a good picture of it. I raced back to the house to get my 70-200 and when I got back to the beach the sun had already come above the horizon, so this was the lowest i could get it.
In addition to that, they are replacing this pier, so everything to the left of what i captured has been demolished and is in the process of being replaced. This will likely be one of the last pictures of this particular pier before being replaced.
