Second Falls

It had been raining quite heavily recently in Hong Kong, and there are a few locations with decent falls when that occurs. I went to one stream but was rather disappointed by the lack of flow that day. I went with a couple artist friends a couple days later to another location, and this is it.

Being a weekend, and a very hot day, it was nothing short of a miracle that I was able to capture the rock pool as well, as there was only a very short window when no one was in it, and it wasn't long after the shoot that there were so many people in there that a queue was forming (and due to the crowd the subsequent photo was more closed in to the centre of the falls). This is actually a vertical panorama of four shots (as I desired more detail), and naturally the upper sections were not dependent on the rock pool below being empty.
