Made of Stardust

February 4, 2015

Fashion shoot for clothing designer at the Neon Museum, Las Vegas. This was another shoot that I setup before a trio to Las Vegas to photograph for a Fashion Jewelry Designer. I wanted to add some shots to my portfolio and when I discovered there was a Neon Museum there I had to make it happen. I worked with a local bridal gown designer who needed some updated shots, this one happened to be of one of her vintage styled bridesmaids dresses. I had an hour to shoot inside the Neon Museum and I milked it for all I could, we had 3 wardrobe changes and utilized about 7 different "spots" within the museum. This was one of my fav's, with the old Stardust sign behind her.

Yes, their hourly location rental rate is steep. But it is a one-of-a-kind location. I shot two of the guys from Pawn Stars there for a magazine editorial. Nice people at the Museum, but still pricey location.

Thanks for the shoutout FStoppers! I agree with Dan, it was pricey, but it is also a one-of-a-kind location.
