Sky Watchers

Arches National Park, Utah, USA. First trip with a new lens for night sky photography: Sigma Art 14mm f1.8. I didn't expect to like this as much as a I do. It was a glorified test shoot. In the moment, I composed the sandstone pillars where they are as generic foreground interest. Later, they began to put me in mind of timeless star gazers.
