Kylling bru

Kylling bru or in English, Chicken Bru
A masterpiece in engineering
Kyllingbru is a railway bridge that crosses the Rauma River in Romsdalen in Møre og Romsdal county.

This is probably the most famous and most photographed railway bridge in Norway. Kyllingbru is located on the Rauma line between Dombås and Åndalsnes.

Chicken Bridge is 76 meters long and built of stone from the mountain nearby. The stone had to be of good quality to withstand the pressure and strain on the railway. Each stone had to be adapted to the utility structure. The bridge is self-supporting and has a span of 42 meters.
