This is a 15minute long exposure taken with the Fujifilm XT-3 paired with the 16-55mm f2.8 lens.
The photo was taken at the top of Monemvasia's Castle in Greece. Initially, I wanted to shoot the milky way with the foreground detail of the old Byzantine church, but when I got there the milky way wasn't where I wanted it to be yet. In order to make use of my waiting time, I thought of shooting a 15-minute long exposure o capture star trails despite the galactic center being in frame.
This produced a unique result that shows the glowing nebulla thousands of lightyears away, along with the sharp startrails.
