Dark-eyed Junco
I photographed this in early morning light and in this case there's an opening in the brush canopy off to the left which fills the area with natural reflected light.
I set a camera flash inside a small soft box off to the right. I made tube snoot for another camera flash to light the rock perch from behind. To create the black background I draped a black blanket off in the distance.
