On a cloudy afternoon, my schoolmates led me to see the highway from a Hong Kong estate nearby. Public housing estates in Hong Kong had provided 2 million people shelter. After we finished watching the highway, I wanted to see the estate buildings brought up to my mind, we together walked into the interior parts of the estate and looked at it.
This was the first time we looked at this architectural pattern, especially, we felt unbelievable, the pattern composition is so complete, the light is barely soft. After I captured this view and looked at it again, I found that it looks like a two-dimensional shape, not as like a composition of a three-dimensional shape. But after a while, from my recalling, I changed my mind. It is a three-dimensional shape indeed. That is our visual illusion.
This photo was captured from the interior part of a public estate in Hong Kong, China.
