Sakoneta beach, in Deba, a town on the Basque Coast with some 5,000 inhabitants, is protected by the Deba-Zumaya Biotope. In addition, in the center of its entire historic center, we find the Church of Santa María de Deba, a jewel of the Gothic style and considered a National Monument.
