Aurora Borealis

This shot was taken at night at -35 degrees and piercing wind at Fairbanks, one of the best places to view the northern lights in Alaska due to its location, hours of darkness in the winter, auroral activity. Frozen fingers had to be warmed up for a long time after several hours in the cold, but the magnificent natural phenomenon was worth the effort and difficulties for the opportunity to see it with my own eyes and capture it in the frame.
