“Brazil for 2014 is a perfect calendar to coincide with the FIFA World Cup. My inspiration for this series is almost a 70’s feel which ironically is when Brazil last won in 1974. I am confident that Brasil could win again in 2014. Shooting this year will be different to Australia. Brasil to me needs colour and energy and needs to be sexy. Brasil’s woman are known and adored from people all over the word - my goal is to create 12 incredible photo- graphs that clearly represent the true natural wonders of Brasil’.

Wait, Brazil did not win in 1974. We did it in 1970. And it was not the last time we won. We were champions FIVE times: 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002.
