I have had these two bottles in my garage for several years. Before that they were on my father in laws allotment. They had been there for goodness knows how many years, when he died and we were clearing through things we found these, I don't know why he kept them, but as soon as I saw them I knew I had to rescue them. Recently I have taken up photography as a hobby and whilst looking for subjects to photograph I found these, then I knew why I had kept them.
One bottle used to contain Dr Laings cream sauce bottled in Leeds, and the other is from mappins brewery of rotherham. The contents and the bottles themselves tell a story, but for me they serve as a memory to my father in law.
