The Witch's Finger

Legend has it, that Trollkonufingur is the finger of a witch that came to throw the Faroe Islands to Iceland. When she was about to do so, the sun came out and she was petrified and sunk into the ocean. However, she was so big that her finger was left on the surface when she reached the bottom of the ocean. That's what we see today as Trollkonufingur.
