I was out at Cerknica lake national park here in Slovenia on a rainy and miserable day.
There was almost no light, I was hoping for, through all the time, I spent there. I was strugling with compositions and conditions for about 4 hours. I then realised, that today it's not the day even for an average shot. Sat in my car and drove away, to go home. It was at the exit of the national park, when I spoted this scene. Almost, like nature was saying: "hold on, there is a light and there is a hope. Just stay for a while...."
Pulled over the car, setup my gear and voila...
Sometimes we need to get lucky. It's an award for persistance and hard work. So my message for all the photographers: be persistant, continue to go out with the camera and take photographs. Sooner or later it will pay off.
Shot on Sony A7 mkII, with Sony FE 24-105 F4 G with CPL.
50mm, F11, ISO100, 3 exposures bracketing.
