I love taking pictures related to time. For this one I got inspired by the Rammstein Song "Zeit" (Time). The lyrics are something like "time, please, stop", so my intension was to freeze some time motion. I was quite surprised to see, that I have to shoot at 1/8000 to get sharp sand grains. Never though about how fast they fall. Well, quite related to getting adult and realize how fast time is running. The upper part is not so well lit on purpose. Who knows how much time is left?! Also the focus is clearly set to the sand grains.
