I really like this photo due to the many stories it tells.
Is the coyote stalking the mule deer or is he just passing by why she keeps a close eye on him? Is the deer keeping a close eye on the coyote because she has a young fawn with her?
The tattered ears of the deer, makes you wonder if these two animals have crossed at some point in the past, with the deer escaping being turned into dinner for the coyotes pack.
part of me wishes that the coyote was more in focus, but at the same time part of me says him being out of focus adds to the photo.
