Lake Pearson and the Purple Hill is an otherworldly hidden location in the Canterbury district, NZ which often forms mesmerising vivid scenes at the different times of the day.
I drove past this view but a mere glance of what lay down there caught my attention and I made a U turn to reach this spot.
At around 7am after driving all night long, I captured my first image, which was like a feeding appetite to my explorer soul. The first rays of the morning sun, the coming down of the mist, floating just above a still lake and I made a good breakfast to myself.
