Isa Khan's Tomb

This is one of my favorite views of Isa Kahn's mausoleum in New Delhi and I was lucky enough to live not too far from this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a few years.
This colorful piece of history is best viewed in person, as photos simply cannot due it justice.
Isa Khan's tomb is a part of the Humayun's Tomb complex in Delhi, India, and was built around 1547-1548. The tomb and its surrounding sunken garden is one of the earliest known examples and was said to have been part of the design inspiration for more famous sunken garden tombs in the future like the Taj Mahal.
