I was anxious to finally go outside and test my new baby Nikkor 70-200 2.8 VRI (yep, new old baby). Fortunately I found someone who pose for me while I figured out this piece of glass and I must say I am pleased with it. Definitely more pleased than I was with my two previous 80-200s ;) I bought it mostly for sports due to it's fast AF, but that does not mean I cannot shoot some portraits while I'm at it :) This also helped me realize, that I may be now saving for that 135 2.0 prime :)

Ania just happened to be there the moment you needed a test subject? Remarkable. Where do you live? Too much white background is distracting. Try to darken 50% to reflect her mood. She chose that dress! Still nice, lot's here.

Ania chose the black top after suggestion to wear something in neutral colours :)
she lives in my town and I asked her to pose for me so I could test the new lens :)
considering that the background is still darker than her skin tone and hair, I do not personally think it distracts from the main subject :) I also try to keep that thing in mind shen shooting ;)
